2011 National Site Awards have now begun!

 

The 2011 Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual National Site Awards have now begun, with over 3,000 guests attending eleven lunch ceremonies held in Edinburgh, Manchester and London, where the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s 2011 National Site Awards were be presented.

 

These Awards celebrate the achievements of the most considerate sites from 2010 across the whole of the UK. They recognise the efforts made by the individual sites and companies, both large and small, in improving the image of the construction industry

 

Considerate Constructors Scheme Annual National Site Awards are given to only the highest scoring 7½% of sites, which have completed in the previous year. The Awards recognise sites’ excellent standards of consideration towards their workforce, their neighbours and the environment.

 

At the presentation held on Monday 28 March 2011 in Edinburgh, by the Chief Executive of the Scottish Building Federation, Michael Levack, Barr Construction achieved a commendable 6 awards!

 

These awards were…

• Considerate Constructors Gold award for Tesco Musselburgh.
  
• Considerate Constructors Silver award for Sainsbury’s Hawick.
• Considerate Constructors Silver Award for Sainsbury’s Extention Hamilton.
• Considerate Constructors Silver Award for Tesco Middleton
• Considerate Constructors Silver Award for Sainsbury’s Starathaven
• Considerate Constructors Bronze Award for Tesco Lesmahagow
