Barr Construction & Flexi-Care Family Fete & Fun Day

On Saturday 14th August 2010 Ivor Goodsite attended Flexi- care Family Fete and Fun Day along with Barr Construction.

The new build Blackhall supported accommodation project is being built for Renfrewshire council and Flexi - care are the end users of the new facility.

Flexi - Care (visit Flexi-Care online) provides a service to adults and children with learning disability and / or Autism.

As part of their fundraising activities they had a Family Fete and Fun Day at South Newton Guide County Camp and Activity Centre for the children and their families with a host of activities including Beat the Goalie, various sports and games as well as Fete stalls.

Barr construction presented Flexicare with a cheque which enabled them to fund the hire of the inflatable slide and play centre and also boost their fundraising donations,

Ivor Goodsite attended the event from 11am to 2.30pm and was an instant hit with both the children and their families taking part in various games and activities and giving out Barr goodie bags to all the children ( and some adults ).
