Girvan Community Hospital has been shortlisted for the Award for Best Sustainable Design in the Building Better Healthcare Awards 2010. The ceremony is taking place in London on 11^th November.

The award for the Best Sustainable Design is considered for a project that advances sustainable development through design and contributes to carbon reduction targets through service redesign.
