Sainsburys Heaton Park - Store Opening
Thursday, 24th November 2011
Today we opened our replacement store in Heaton Park, Manchester with a sales area of 97,548sq ft. The store is located just off junction 19 of the M60 motorway to the north east of the city.
Barr have developed a strong and growing link with Sainsbury's Development team, albeit that first contact was only during 2009. Our services to Sainsburys consist of providing a full package of Architectural and Engineering services in tandem with the normal site construction team.
We believe our ethos of continuing to strive to improve and better our processes has been of immense benefit to our relationship with Sainsburys and will continue to be so as we, as partners, evolve and develop over time.

The Heaton Park project involved the design and construction of a Format 100 Store (100,000 Sq feet of sales floor) with a mezzanine level containing the domestic areas and Customer Cafe.
