This new primary school is situated within a green field site and serves the local community of Garthamlock in Glasgow. The building is a two storey steel framed structure with the envelope comprising of a SFS wall system with a combination of render, facing brick, larch cladding and glazed finishes. The roof is generally standing seam construction with occasional flat single ply membrane areas. Internally, the accomodation provides classrooms, media library, staff facilities, sports hall, toilets/changing areas, kitchen, dining room, a segregated nursery area and a complex learning department which includes a hydrotherapy unit. External works includes significant soft landscaping, parking areas and a full size synthetic sports pitch.
