The work consists of construction of a new £28m 1500 pupil school on part of the existing playing field & adjacent to an existing school & sports pavillion and, thereafter, demolishing the existing school and pavilion and the creation of new sports fields, including all weather facilities, plus carparking & soft landscaping .
The construction of this 3 storey school consisted of traditional pad founds, structural steel work, composite slab, kalzip roofing, curtain walling, render, internal fitout inc ME&P.
Key features of the building was stark modern architecture, internally featuring a 2 storey atrium/dining area & light wells through each floor to give natural light to extremely wide corridors.
