Two storey office development with meeting and training facilities to serve the needs of local business and enterprise. Over 18,000 sq ft of office space utilising adjustable partitions and floor boxes for power and data to give flexibility in individual office layout.
After completion of the site remediation works, ground improvement, using vibro compaction techniques, was required to enable the building foundation loads to be taken. The two storey steel frame with composite concrete floors was clad with blockwork and facing brick. The roof construction comprised of a pitched sedum ’green roof’ which assisted in meeting the requirement for SUDS.
Internally, raised flooring was employed throughout with high quality doors and floor coverings.
