Whitehall Quay is part of one of Europes largest multipurpose development concepts, located on the banks of the river Aire in Leeds city centre. The development – constructed for KW Linfoot – offers a continental blend of 193 high specification luxury apartments, office suites and leisure units, with a piazza for al fresco dining with bars and restaurants.
The project was successfully completed within 18 months and incorporated many innovative features during the build. For example the balcony units were designed as prefabricated unit and lifted into place fully complete including the glass. The early installation of the unique precast concrete wall cladding units allowed the building to achieve wind and water tightness at an early programme date thereby allowing additional time for the follow on trades to work in a dry environment.
