Location: Glasgow
Project Start: January 2006
Project End: March 2007
This project consisted of the construction of a new primary school on a greenbelt site serving the local community of Robroyston. The building is a steel framed structure over two floors with external SFS wall systems with a combination of render, facing brick, larch cladding and glazed finishes. The roof is of standing seam construction with occasional flat roof areas. Internally, there is provision for classrooms, media library, staff facilities, sports hall, toilets/changing areas, kitchen, dining room and a segregated nursery area. External works included significant soft landscaping, parking areas and a full size synthetic sports pitch.
